Job Summary
As Director of Finance youll partner closely with the General Manager Ownership and Leadership team to deliver exceptional financial performance ensure compliance and support sustainable growth. This role is perfect for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in dynamic fast-paced environments and brings a strategic yet hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function across all hotel operations (rooms food & beverage events and more).
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
Oversee budgeting forecasting cash flow management and monthly reporting.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements internal controls and company policies.
Manage and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of accuracy accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with department heads to maximise revenue manage costs and drive profitability.
Act as a key liaison with auditors owners and corporate stakeholders.
Qualifications :
About You
Proven experience in a senior finance role within hospitality hotels or a related industry.
A strong understanding of hotel operations revenue management and F&B cost controls.
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to get hands-on when required.
Passionate about hospitality with a drive to contribute to Hydes culture and success.
