Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities cultivating client relationships and driving revenue growth in the commercial construction market. This individual will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to attract new clients and projects.
- Identify and pursue leads in both public and private sectors including general contractors architects developers and property owners.
- Build manage and maintain strong client relationships through networking presentations and consistent follow-up.
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking functions.
- Collaborate with estimating and project teams to prepare compelling proposals and bids.
- Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activity and areas of opportunity.
- Track and report on business development metrics and KPIs.
- Contribute to marketing and branding efforts to increase visibility and credibility in the market.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business Marketing Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in the construction or real estate development industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Texas construction market and key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Builder Prime) Microsoft Office Suite and presentation tools.
$65000 - $80000 a year
