Kepak Group one of Europes leading food producers is seeking a motivated individual to join our Procurement team at our Bodmin site. This role is situated within the food production industry which plays a vital role in supplying high-quality food products to consumers across the globe. As a Procurement Administrator at our Bodmin site you will contribute to the companys proud heritage of meat craft trusted quality and excellent service.

Role Structure

Reporting to Livestock Procurement Manager

Role Purpose

To support the site livestock procurement team by providing accurate and timely administration coordination and reporting. Engage positively and professionally with livestock suppliers and ensure timely responses to all queries engaging with site and livestock teams as required.

Permanent Full Time Contract Working Monday To Friday

Salary for the role is 24500 per year



Requirements

Role Responsibilities

Supplier queries

First point of contact for all producer inquiries maintaining positive relationships with our livestock farmers (producers) hauliers and our cattle buyers

Livestock bookings

Process livestock bookings and liaising with producers and livestock buyers to ensure correct and timely delivery of cattle to the plant

Livestock pricing

Maintain accurate records of livestock pricing in accordance with supplier agreements and ensure pricing is correct for livestock payments

Livestock compliance

Cross referencing of farm assurance provenance and specification to ensure cattle are entered into the correct batches

Reporting and data maintenance

Prepare reports and maintain data accuracy (systems / databases) for reporting as well as electronic and hard copy record keeping. Collate and report on information in relation to procurement activities highlighting exceptions

General administration and office support

Support the livestock team in all aspects of administration and producer engagement as required

Administrative excellence

Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of office administration and processes

Cross functional collaboration

Internal engagement with livestock teams and site teams to ensure alignment. Support the site team in preparing information as required for audits livestock compliance and other elements of livestock administration

People and culture

Contribute positively to team culture and uphold company values in all interactions.

Engage proactively in the enhancing performance process and provide support to assist with training team members as required

Livestock pricing accuracy and efficiency

Data maintenance and reporting accuracy

Supplier query response times and satisfaction

Critical Interfaces

Internal: Livestock procurement team site lairage and operations teams food safety and compliance team support functions

External: Livestock suppliers

Role Qualification and Skills

Previous experience in administration with excellent IT and administrative skills

Experience with livestock suppliers or farmers an advantage

Professional and positive communication and relationship building

High level of attention to detail

Strong time management and prioritization

Flexible and adaptable
