Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
To execute the daily air freight import operation
Execute and prepare documentations (Mawb Hawb Manifest COO)
To timely update and provide accurate data as per airlines requirement in TMF system.
Update and send pre-alerts to agents
Coordinate bookings of air cargo with shippers airlines co-loaders and overseas agents.
To arrange cargo collection with transporters if required.
Arrange shipment deliveries and permit declarations for air import.
Guide and assist in the Air cargo operation at the terminal if required.
Respond to all queries over phone and emails timely and with accuracy.
To communicate and coordinate with each stakeholder for efficient execution of shipments.
To perform any other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum GCE O level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
Knowledge of MS Office applications Outlook Excel Word
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
Possess experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
DG Certification would be an added advantage
Meticulous organized and willing to put the extra effort for tasks completion
Effective Interpersonal Skills
Effective communication skills - verbal and written
5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
