Sr. Business Analyst / Data Analyst

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office (downtown) at a minimum 3-4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Interact with the Business team and analyze regulatory documents to decipher requirements.
Ensure business specifications/requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing/development efforts and as input to various project documentation.
Develop and deliver Business Requirements Documents Mapping Documents Design Documents Use Cases and Process Models as required.
Participate in the development of detailed project plans the monitoring of progress against planned objectives and co-operation from users and senior management.
Work closely across Risk technology teams during all stages of the system development life cycle and bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.
Liaising between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
Build relationships and communicate effectively with Global team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have skills
5 years in the Banking domain.
Ability to translate BRD into technical specifications (Mappings between source to target systems).
SQL knowledge
Good Communication
Team player

Nice To Have
Functional knowledge of Banking- Small business Risk (nice to have)
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python (nice to have)
