Job Description

Our established and thriving specialty veterinary dentistry practice led by two board-certified veterinary dentists is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in advancing their career within a specialty field working with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative expert-led team.

Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include serving as an anesthetic technician and surgical assistant during advanced dental and oral surgical procedures. While previous experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support is highly valued it is not a requirement; we are willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.

Knowledge of veterinary dentistry is not necessary; we offer full on-the-job training in oral surgery dental radiography and specialized patient care.

Technologies & Tools Utilized

Our facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies including:

  • Digital dental radiography systems
  • Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging
  • High-quality surgical monitoring equipment
  • Advanced anesthesia protocols and monitoring systems

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a licensed veterinary technician who demonstrates:

  • A current license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)
  • A strong interest in surgical procedures and anesthetic management
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • A growth mindset with eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Reliability professionalism and strong organizational skills
