Join our Heavy Industry team as a Machine Repair Technician I. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of our essential production machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in industrial maintenance who is eager to grow their skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment contributing directly to our operational efficiency and helping us achieve our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various industrial machinery.

* Assist senior technicians with complex troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

* Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals to aid in repairs.

* Execute rebuilds of pneumatic electric and hydraulic cylinders and valves under supervision.

* Support the maintenance of air compressors wells water pumps and emission systems.

* Ensure all work is performed safely adhering to established safety procedures and guidelines.

* Utilize basic computer skills for work order entry and completion in our maintenance system.

* Maintain and troubleshoot general plant equipment as needed for continuous operation.

* Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by following all related work instructions.

Recommended Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED.

* 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

* Basic understanding of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

* Strong commitment to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout.

* Ability to provide own personal hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Technical certification or associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related discipline.

* Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

* Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

* Basic welding or automatic torch cutting experience.

* Ability to obtain forklift and/or man-lift licenses.
