We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer that will work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering teamthroughout the life cycle of a daily responsibilities will evolve as the current needs of assigned programs evolve and include requirements definition design analysis technical data package development manufacturing support integration and testing. You will have the opportunity to directly interface with customers on multiple fast paced programs in support of ARMY and other department of defense customers and directly contribute to the success of these programs.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will assist/lead the technical execution of projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams. You will work with both customers and internal program managers to define expectations schedule and goals on various projects. You will exercise knowledge and experience of advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) programs such as SolidWorks CATIA (Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application)or PTC Creo to detail designs and preform required analysis to substantiate the airworthiness of developed this role you will be exposed to the entire design/development process and have the ability to influence program execution strategy.
Required
- ABET accredited BS inMechanicalEngineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 3years experience performing engineering-related duties
- Background inMechanical/Aerospacedesign and analysis
- Some travel
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Desired
- Knowledge of DOD Technical Data Package practices and American Society ofMechanicalEngineers (ASME) Drawing Standards
- Experience with Classical and Finite Element Analysis Methods
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles
