Job Description

Job Overview

Are you ready to be a key player in maintaining the efficiency and safety of a continuous manufacturing plant We are looking for a passionate and proactive Electrical Controls Engineer II to join our this role youll have the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge technologies lead improvement projects and maintain electrical and control systems that drive our daily operations. If you enjoy solving complex problems and working in a dynamic environment where your work truly matters this is your chance.

Duties

  • Lead and execute electrical engineering projects related to equipment design installation integration and support.
  • Modify and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and PLC/HMI programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens).
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
  • Support preventive predictive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Manage capital projects focused on electrical infrastructure and process control.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and health safety and environmental teams to improve operations.
  • Train and provide technical support to maintenance technicians.
  • Support medium and high voltage power distribution systems (480V and 4160V).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environments (required).
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs HMIs and variable speed drives (required).
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and WonderWare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and arc flash hazards.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
