Are you ready to be a key player in maintaining the efficiency and safety of a continuous manufacturing plant We are looking for a passionate and proactive Electrical Controls Engineer II to join our this role youll have the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge technologies lead improvement projects and maintain electrical and control systems that drive our daily operations. Duties
- Lead and execute electrical engineering projects related to equipment design installation integration and support.
- Modify and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and PLC/HMI programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens).
- Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
- Support preventive predictive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
- Manage capital projects focused on electrical infrastructure and process control.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) and internal policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and health safety and environmental teams to improve operations.
- Train and provide technical support to maintenance technicians.
- Support medium and high voltage power distribution systems (480V and 4160V).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environments (required).
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs HMIs and variable speed drives (required).
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and WonderWare is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and arc flash hazards.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
