Compensation

• Base Salary: $150000 - $300000 (average hires $160K -$170K base; equity potential pushes total comp toward $300K)

Role summary
As a Fullstack Engineer you will build and scale LLM-powered products from scratch owning significant product lines and technical decisions. Youll work directly with founders and a small high-caliber team to ship at speed in a high-intensity environment. The role requires full on-site commitment in San Francisco 6 days per week 12 hours per day during core build phases.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly contribute to and eventually own core product lines

• Build and deploy LLM-based applications end-to-end

• Design scalable reliable and secure systems for high-volume use cases

• Collaborate with founders to translate product vision into launches

• Write high-quality maintainable code across backend and frontend systems

Must-have qualifications

• Current or past founding engineer founder or early employee at a successful fast-growing startup (YC-backed or multi-round funded preferred)

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based products from scratch

• Proven 01 product development and scaling experience with exceptional code quality

• Degree from a top 25 US university or IIT or exceptional work experience in lieu of degree

• Strong expertise in Python (Django)

• Proficiency in React and ShadCN

• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud (Kubernetes/Docker a plus)

• Passionate entrepreneurial mindset with grit to work long hours in a high-growth environment

• 2-4 years of hands-on engineering experience

• Willingness and ability to work onsite in San Francisco 6 days a week 12 hours a day

Preferred qualifications

• AI startup experience

• Strong JavaScript skills alongside Python

• Unique side projects or ML experiments (GitHub link strongly encouraged)
