Job Description
Van-Am Tool & Engineering is hiring a Welding Supervisor to lead our welding department across multiple facilities in St. Joseph MO. This role oversees a team of welders ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality safety and efficiency.
What Youll Do
Lead schedule and supervise welding operations (MIG TIG robotic).
Train mentor and evaluate welders of all skill levels.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 ISO 9001 and customer specifications.
Maintain welding equipment consumables and supplies.
Promote safety and enforce OSHA/company policies.
What Were Looking For
3 years of welding supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.
Strong background in MIG TIG and robotic welding.
Ability to read blueprints weld symbols and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
AWS certification preferred not required.
