Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function for our operations in the Philippines. This includes developing and executing HR strategies managing the employee lifecycle and fostering a positive and productive work environment. A deep practical understanding of Philippine Labor Law SSS Pag-IBIG PhilHealth and BIR regulations is non-negotiable for this role.
What you will do:
Legal Compliance and Labor Relations:
1. Ensure company policies procedures and handbooks are fully compliant with Philippine law and best practices. Regularly review and update them as needed.
2. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues including disciplinary meetings investigations and separations ensuring due process and mitigating legal risk.
3. Review company contracts and other documents.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
1. Ensure all hiring practices including contracts (e.g. Regular Probationary Project-Based Fixed-Term) are legally sound.
2. Develop and manage a seamless onboarding process that integrates new hires into the company culture and ensures completion of all government-mandatory requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
1. Administer and manage all government-mandated benefits: SSS Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth enrollments contributions and loan processing.
2. Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll ensuring compliance with BIR tax regulations and statutory deductions.
Performance and Talent Management:
1. Develop and implement performance management systems that drive high performance and align with company goals.
What you need:
1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology Business Administration or a related field and a proven HR professional with 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in the Philippines.
2. In-depth demonstrated knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code.
3. Proven experience in end-to-end talent acquisition compensation & benefits and employee relations.
4. Exceptional communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
5. High level of integrity discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
