Job Description
Position: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia
Industry: Construction & Engineering
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: USD 1500-2500 per month
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of high-rise residential and hotel developments in Cambodia. The role requires strong technical expertise in structural engineering with proven experience in structural design for complex building projects.
Key Responsibilities

Develop review and validate structural designs for high-rise residential and hospitality projects.

Prepare and check structural drawings calculations and technical specifications.

Coordinate with architects MEP engineers and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.

Conduct structural analysis and provide value-engineering solutions to optimise performance and cost.

Review and approve shop drawings material submittals and construction methods for compliance with design standards.

Participate in site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure design intent and safety requirements are met.

Stay updated with local building codes international standards and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred).

5-10 years of experience in structural design and/or engineering with emphasis on high-rise residential and hotel projects.

Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and design tools (e.g. ETABS SAFE STAAD AutoCAD).
