Salary: $131870.90 - $134500.70 super.

About the role

St Vincents Hospital Sydney in partnership with the McGrath Foundation is seeking a passionate and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Head and Neck to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team.

  • Provide expert clinical care education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.

  • Deliver holistic patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

  • You will be an advocate educator and clinical expert ensuring patients feel supported every step of the way.

  • Ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • An exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified oncology nurse.

About you

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.

  • At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in oncology.

  • Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincents Hospital Sydney.

  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.

  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
