About the role
St Vincents Hospital Sydney in partnership with the McGrath Foundation is seeking a passionate and experienced McGrath Cancer Care Nurse - Head and Neck to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team.
Provide expert clinical care education support to individuals and families navigating a head and neck cancer diagnosis.
Deliver holistic patient-centred care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
You will be an advocate educator and clinical expert ensuring patients feel supported every step of the way.
Ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
An exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified oncology nurse.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in oncology.
Approved postgraduate nursing qualifications relevant to head and neck cancer or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincents Hospital Sydney.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
