About the Role

Were seeking a Food Inventory Team Leader to oversee inventory operations at our Cafes situated in The Alfred Hospital. This is a all-rounder role where youll manage stock and invoicing while also supporting front-of-house operations during quieter periods.

This role will be paid in line with the Fast Food Industry Award Level 3.

Key duties include:

  • Managing goods receivable and placing orders with suppliers
  • Verifying and submitting invoices accurately
  • Training team members in store processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards
  • Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Store Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations
  • Assisting with food and beverage preparation including coffee service when required

About You

To succeed in this role youll bring:

  • 1-2 years experience in inventory or stock control within a food business (required)
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Barista experience is highly regarded (training can also be provided on the job)
  • Strong understanding of caf operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
