Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Signal Processing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design develop and implement advanced signal processing algorithms and systems that support our engineering projects. This role requires strong analytical abilities a deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and optimize signal processing algorithms for real-time and offline applications.
Analyze signals from various sources (e.g. audio radar communications or sensor data).
Develop software models and simulations to test and validate DSP techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate algorithms into larger systems.
Debug troubleshoot and improve performance of existing signal processing workflows.
Research emerging technologies and apply innovative methods to solve challenging problems.
Document designs processes and testing results in technical reports.
Participate in design reviews code reviews and system validation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Applied Mathematics or related field (Masters preferred).
Strong foundation in digital signal processing theory and techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB Python or C/C.
Experience with DSP libraries frameworks or real-time systems a plus.
Familiarity with communication systems image/audio processing or radar/sonar signal analysis preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
