Job Description
Were looking to add a Trader to our team in Singapore or Dubai with focus on EFP trading equity financing trading structures and inventory optimization. This role sits within a fast-growing central function that oversees and supports global strategies providing exposure to trading across multiple asset classes.
Position Overview:
- Actively monitor and trade EFP opportunities across Asian markets accounting for the unique characteristics and nuances of each country
- Identify and evaluate carry trade opportunities to enhance portfolio returns
- Collaborate with quant teams banks and operations to design and refine trading setups and streamline processes
- Implement optimization strategies at the firm level including corporate action elections and capital reduction
- Enhance trading tools to ensure scalability and effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Graduate degree in Finance quantitative or related field
- 2-3 years of trading experience or knowledge of equity delta one ideally across several Asia emerging markets and the MSCI complex
- Familiarity with programming language such as VBA or Python
- Detail focused and ability to work with Technology and Quants to build sustainable systems
- Methodical: Able to prioritize and execute critical tasks under pressure
