Job Description
Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance and Operations:
- Perform daily monitoring maintenance and troubleshooting of DRSN equipment and associated hardware/software.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of secure communications systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Installation and Configuration:
- Install configure and integrate new DRSN equipment ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements.
- Conduct system upgrades patches and hardware replacements as needed.
- Technical Support:
- Provide Tier II/III support to resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address network and system anomalies.
- Maintain detailed logs of system activities issues and resolutions.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure all operations adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits to maintain compliance with security standards.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and support forensic investigations when necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership on system health and project progress.
