We are seeking a highly skilled Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) Technician to join our team in providing critical support for secure communications systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining troubleshooting and upgrading DRSN systems ensuring the secure and uninterrupted flow of classified communications for mission-critical operations. Active TS/SCI required.
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance and Operations:
Perform daily monitoring maintenance and troubleshooting of DRSN equipment and associated hardware/software.
Ensure the reliability and availability of secure communications systems.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Installation and Configuration:
Install configure and integrate new DRSN equipment ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements.
Conduct system upgrades patches and hardware replacements as needed.
Technical Support:
Provide Tier II/III support to resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address network and system anomalies.
Maintain detailed logs of system activities issues and resolutions.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure all operations adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular system audits to maintain compliance with security standards.
Respond promptly to security incidents and support forensic investigations when necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
Provide regular status reports and updates to leadership on system health and project progress.
