Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Lead the design and development of scalable high-performance systems ensuring they support millions of users across global markets.
- Collaborate with product design QA and engineering teams to deliver integrated seamless user experiences.
- Manage system performance identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve reliability security and efficiency at every layer.
- Drive the full development lifecyclefrom requirements gathering and architecture to implementation testing and deployment.
- Mentor and develop engineers within your team providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of learning experimentation and innovation.
- Ensure teams follow secure software development practices with rigor in areas such as data handling quality control and release management.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and engineering trends relevant to your domain bringing new ideas to enhance our platforms and delivery.
Qualifications & Attributes
Were seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience:
- 8 years of professional software development experience with at least 23 years leading engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering production-grade platformswhether backend frontend or mobilein fast-paced tech-driven environments.
Technical Skills:
Must-haves:
Strong expertise in scalable system design performance optimization and platform reliability.
Proven experience working with modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices APIs responsive UI frameworks real-time systems).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and testing strategies.
Deep understanding of application security data flows and scalability principles in either web mobile or cloud environments.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) event-driven systems (Kafka RabbitMQ) or serverless computing (e.g. AWS Lambda).
Exposure to both backend and client-side technologies even if primary expertise lies in one domain.
Contributions to open-source projects or an active presence in the engineering community.
