Asset Management Group Development Program Analyst

The goal of PNCs Development Programs is to move analysts from development roles into production roles in one of PNCs lines of business.
PNCs Asset Management Group (AMG) is comprised of Institutional Asset Management our Investment Office and PNC Private Bank. AMG works with individual nonprofit and corporate clients who have significant assets to develop sophisticated customized financial solutions ranging from investment management and wealth planning to trust administration and private foundation management.
The AMG Development Program is a comprehensive interactive program that will prepare you to cultivate relationships with clients and assume key client facing roles and/or prepare you for a role supporting the investment management businesses within the Asset Management Group. The 2-year program provides opportunity to learn the business through an extensive mix of classroom training and on the job learning while gaining visibility among the firms senior leadership.
Institutional Asset Management (IAM): PNC Institutional Asset Management has been providing Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) Fixed Income and Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Retirement Solutions for corporations nonprofits governments and other institutional investors for over 75 years. IAMs localregional based service teams provide our clients with customized solutions to help achieve their mission and grow their organizations. Our team of advisors includes Business Development Officers Investment Advisors Relationship Managers Retirement Plan Advisors and Portfolio Management & Analytics teams.
Investment Office: The Asset Management Group Investment Office is an extension of our dedicated investment team. Working with Investment Advisors our deep bench of investment professionals provide in-depth support and analysis on investment strategy asset allocation manager selection and portfolio construction.
Geographic flexibility is important to your success in this program. Opportunities are available throughout PNCs footprint. Analysts entering the Asset Management Group Development Program will be in a client facing and sales supporting role.

Participates as an analyst in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g. deal sales or process support internal or external client interaction or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g. identifies and networks with business representatives and peers participates in mentoring job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g. classroom web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external client experience by always providing excellent service; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Required Education and Experience:
Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance Accounting IT Economics Marketing Math Statistics HR Management Communications Business Law Psychology Logistics Engineering Actuarial Sciences) Minimum GPA 3.2.
Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.
