Job Description
Position Title:Retail Sales Associate (On-mountain / Downtown)
Reports To:Retail Manager
Employment Status:Winter Seasonal; Full/part time
Job Summary:
Brundage Mountain Resort is seeking outgoing self-motivated individuals who enjoy connecting with people and creating memorable guest experiences. This position can work in two locations: downtown McCall retail location on the on-mountain retail shop in the Mountain Adventure Center. Cross- training will include learning guest services and rental department tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a friendly approachable attitude and offer assistance
- Provide enthusiastic and professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Advise customers by sharing detailed information about retail merchandise and resort offerings
- Answer questions thoroughly build rapport and guide guests confidently through the sales process
- Promote products that align with each customers needs and interests
- Maintain a clean organized and visually appealing retail space
- Stock shelves counters and displays with merchandise
- Accurately process sales transactions using point-of-sale systems
- Handle cash responsibly including end-of-day reconciliation
Job Qualifications:
- Outgoing friendly personality with a natural ability to engage with guests
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced high-energy environment
- Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
- Previous customer service retail or cash-handling experience a plus
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 30 lbs or more
