Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects including power distribution lighting fire alarm telecommunications and other low-voltage systems.
- Prepare and seal electrical construction documents specifications and reports in compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC NFPA IBC etc.).
- Perform load calculations arc flash studies and short-circuit analyses using appropriate software tools.
- Review and approve submittals RFIs and shop drawings; conduct field investigations and site visits.
- Lead or support project teams and collaborate with architects engineers contractors and clients throughout the design and construction process.
- Ensure all work meets professional engineering standards safety regulations and client requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
