Job Description:
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations design and implementation plans
Develop test plans procedures & cases
Conduct tests and document results
Use software tools scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
Analyze systems requirements from end systemsand users
Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
Qualifications:
Masters degreein Systems EngineeringElectrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Physics Mathematics Aviation Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering systems architecture systems analysis and design system performance modeling integration and/or project management and/or model-based systems engineering
Familiar with Rhapsody.
Ability toobtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge and experience in advanced Optical Systems EO/IR Sensors or ISR applications.
Background in developing systems model and modeling software architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture Cameo Systems Modeler MagicDraw or similar SysML development tool.
Verification and Validation (V&V) experience or Integration and Test (I&T) experience and use of test planning tools (e.g. LabView TestStand).
Proficiency in hardware/software integration with the ability to collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of subsystems and components.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages scripting languages data-loggers or advanced excel data analyses.
Knowledge and experience in the Aerospace/Defense sector.
Environmental Testing / Qualification (ESS) experience.
Experience working under an AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management System.
Familiarity with INCOSE and the Systems Engineering Book of Knowledge (SEBOK)
Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Computer Science Physics or similar degree path preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplined integrated product team (IPT).
