As a Design Planner you will oversee the delivery planning of design projects across KiwiRails infrastructure. Youll make sure schedules are realistic projects are aligned and resources are in place to get the job closely with designers project managers and production teams youll create and maintain rolling plans provide forecasts and keep stakeholders informed. Your work will bridge design and delivery ensuring projects stay on track and contribute to KiwiRails long-term goals.
This is a permanent role based in either Wellington or Auckland reporting to the Integrated Planning Team Leader.

Were looking for someone who can combine strong planning skills with great teamwork. You will bring:
Experience in project planning scheduling and forecasting ideally within infrastructure or rail.
Ability to develop and maintain integrated design schedules and manage dependencies.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using tools like P6 Microsoft Project and Excel.
A proactive approach to identifying risks and solving problems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
A relevant engineering project management or equivalent qualification.
A full New Zealand drivers licence and willingness to travel when needed.
