The School of Physiotherapy Clinics strive to provide excellence in physiotherapy practise education and clinical research. Our clinics value staff as our most valuable resource and so provide unparalleled opportunities for ongoing education and professional development a mentorship programme provided by experienced clinicians with postgraduate qualifications and the chance to be involved in physiotherapy clinical education and clinical research.
The Clinic operates out of the Dunedin School of Physiotherapy. There are clinics dedicated in vestibular balance and concussion rehabilitation musculoskeletal rehabilitation clinical pilates pelvic health headaches and developing clinics in TMJ dysfunction hand therapy and occupational health. There are opportunities to gain experience in these dedicated areas as well as building your confidence and ability in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy in a well-supported environment.
The role/Te mahi
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to work in a leading clinic working with experts in the field. You will have a mentor supporting you to achieve your professional development goals.
You will:
Provide physiotherapy services in the schools clinics in Dunedin including the vestibular balance and concussion clinic and Unipol clinic.
Contribute to the smooth running of the clinic.
Foster student learning through a collegial approach answering queries and if requested assist with undergraduate student learning.
Take part in professional development and relevant continuing education.

Essential:
Have full general scope registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
Have a relevant degree level qualification.
The successful candidate will also have:
A positive attitude.
Confidence to liaise effectively with students.
Strong verbal communications skills.
Ability to work autonomously & within a team.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours) fixed term (February 2026 December 2027) position. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Located in tepoti Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role is Level 4 $63508 to $68185. Top of Range $73640.
