Ready to Bring the Heat Become Our Next Equipment Specialist at Coke Plant 2!
Ventia is on the hunt for a mechanically-minded legend to join our Coke Plant 2 Asset Team at the iconic BlueScope Port Kembla Steelworks. If you know your way around pressure vessels pipelines and plant shutdownsand youve got a knack for keeping things running smoother than a fresh weldthis is your moment to shine!

What Youll Be Doing (Besides Looking Awesome in PPE):
- Monitoring and reporting on asset condition (youll be the Sherlock Holmes of steel).
- Supporting the Asset Improvement Coordinators with daily tasks.
- Scoping and planning maintenance shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Creating work orders in SAP (yes we know its a love-hate relationship).
- Participating in RCA (Root Cause Analysis not the record label).
- Getting hands-on with multi-discipline teamsbecause teamwork makes the dream work.
What Youll Bring to the Table (Besides Your Toolbox):
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (bonus points if youve got a Diploma of Engineering or are keen to get one).
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and pride in your work.
- Experience in similar roles or ready to take the next step.
- NSW Drivers Licence and computer literacy.
- A passion for improvement and a knack for communication.
