- Solidify relationships with agents and CSRs through support and training.
- Fully underwrite risks that match the Companys Best Practices by utilizing the Companys operating system and processes required to review a risk.
- Utilize outside sources to evaluate information about each risk.
- Adhere to General Statutes and guidelines set forth by the NCDOI regarding timeliness of notifications cancellations etc.
- Test new products and rates as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer and agent interactions and transactions recording details of inquiries comments and actions taken in the company operating system.
- Hold a NC insurance license in property & casualty and have a minimum of two years personal lines insurance account management experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages rating procedures underwriting procedures coverages and industry operations to effectively manage agent relationships.
- Demonstrate strong customer service focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills as well as possess excellent math and reading skills to accurately perform simple calculations.
- Have the ability and tact to handle difficult phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
- Have a strong sense of urgency attention to detail organization multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Technology (MSWord and Excel) Computer proficiency and general knowledge of operating management systems.
