DISHER is currently partnering with a customer seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with experience in the electronics manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining quality systems to ensure product compliance with industry standards customer requirements and regulatory guidelines. This role requires a strong background in quality engineering problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives within an electronics manufacturing environment.

What you will get to do:
Develop implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 13485 IPC-A-610 and other industry standards.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes for product and process issues using tools like 8D 5-Why and FMEA.
Work closely with design manufacturing and test engineering teams to ensure quality is integrated into product development and production processes.
Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques and other data-driven methodologies to monitor and improve manufacturing quality.
Provide leadership and training on quality-related topics including Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Support new product introduction (NPI) processes by defining quality requirements and validating product performance.
Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through structured problem-solving methodologies.
Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and procedures.
What will make you successful:
Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 10 plus years experience in a Quality Engineering role.
5 years of experience in quality engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of IPC standards and other relevant regulations.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab JMP etc.) and quality improvement techniques.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred) APQP PPAP and DFMEA/PFMEA.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with automated inspection systems PCBA manufacturing or electronics assembly processes is a plus.
