Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Location: New Castle
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Classification: Hourly Non-Exempt
About the Role:
Superior Forge & Steel is currently seeking a Maintenance Helperto join our New Castle this hands-on role youll support the repair adjustment and upkeep of our manufacturing equipmentensuring everything runs efficiently and safely. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to grow their skill set in a fast-paced production environment.
Starting wages from$20.00/hr. (based on experience) and$1000 SIGN ON BONUSpaid throughout the first year of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all company manufacturing and safety policies procedures and standards
  • Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas and offices
  • Inspect evaluate and maintain mechanical equipment throughout the facility
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and reduce costs
Who Youll Work With:
Youll collaborate regularly with Maintenance and Plant Managers and Production Department teams.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; trade school certification or 10 years of practical maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong manual dexterity good vision and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
