Job Description
Location: New Castle
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Classification: Hourly Non-Exempt
Superior Forge & Steel is currently seeking a Maintenance Helperto join our New Castle this hands-on role youll support the repair adjustment and upkeep of our manufacturing equipmentensuring everything runs efficiently and safely. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to grow their skill set in a fast-paced production environment.
- Follow all company manufacturing and safety policies procedures and standards
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas and offices
- Inspect evaluate and maintain mechanical equipment throughout the facility
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and reduce costs
Youll collaborate regularly with Maintenance and Plant Managers and Production Department teams.
- High school diploma required; trade school certification or 10 years of practical maintenance experience preferred
- Strong manual dexterity good vision and the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
