Job Title: Virtual Leasing Assistant
Position Type: Full-Time Remote
Reports To: Regional Property Manager
Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Central Time
Location: Remote (LATAM South Africa)
Salary Range: $1000 - $1500/month

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive detail-oriented and tech-savvy Virtual Leasing Assistant to support multiple residential properties. This role involves handling incoming inquiries logging and following up on leads via phone and email processing maintenance requests and ensuring timely communication with prospective and current residents. The ideal candidate is organized consistent and demonstrates strong client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Inquiries:
    • Monitor and respond promptly to leasing-related phone calls emails and text messages.
    • Provide accurate property information availability and leasing requirements.
    • Follow up with leads to encourage tours and applications.
  • Lead Management:
    • Log all leads into the property management or CRM system accurately.
    • Reach out to leads generated from advertising platforms and websites.
    • Maintain accurate lead tracking and follow-up records.
  • Maintenance Requests:
    • Receive maintenance issues reported by phone email or text.
    • Log work orders accurately into the property management system.
    • Communicate timelines clearly with the maintenance team and residents.
  • Escalation Management:
    • Identify and escalate urgent or complex issues to the Regional Property Manager.
    • Use judgment to determine when resident concerns require immediate management involvement.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform data entry tasks as needed to maintain a full-time schedule.
    • Assist in scheduling showings or virtual tours.
    • Support leasing campaigns and promotional outreach as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2 year experience in leasing property management or customer service preferred (flexible for strong client-facing skills).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling high volumes of calls texts and emails.
  • Proficient in property management software (e.g. Yardi Breeze) is preferred but not required; familiarity with CRM systems is essential.
  • Detail-oriented organized consistent and tech-savvy.
  • Ability to work independently manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for calls.

Performance Indicators:

  • Response time to resident and prospect inquiries.
  • Accuracy in work order creation and lead tracking.
  • Proper escalation of issues to the Regional Property Manager.
  • Lead follow-up conversion rates.
  • Positive feedback from residents and prospects.
