The Role: Sales Executive (Clearing & Forwarding)
The Sales Executive will be responsible for securing new business and growing existing client relationships within the clearing and forwarding industry. This role requires a proactive and driven individual to identify opportunities present tailored solutions and achieve revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and identify potential clients requiring clearing and forwarding services
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in logistics
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Generate leads through networking cold calling industry events and referrals
Build and maintain strong client relationships while understanding their logistics needs
Conduct service reviews with key accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with clients
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new business
Stay informed on customs regulations international trade requirements and logistics trends
Provide clients with insights to optimize supply chain processes
About You
3-5 years of proven sales experience in logistics freight forwarding or related industry
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Knowledge of customs procedures international shipping and trade regulations
Strong communication negotiation and closing skills
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
Ability to understand complex logistics requirements and propose solutions
Self-motivated resilient and results-oriented with strong business acumen
Customer-focused with a passion for building long-term relationships
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for client visits
