1. GENERAL SUMMARY:
Drive existing key accountbusiness inOil & Gas Energy Wind Power Nuclear Energy and related industrial segments. Responsible for key account revenue.
Develop new key accounts and build long term business relationships.
2. PRIMARY FUNCTION/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Assess business conditions by end customer opportunity and develop an overall business plan to exceed fiscal goals.
b. Daily management to maintain relationship with key accounts be focal point to handle related issues from the key accounts
c. Identify and develop new key accounts in targeted industries. Work with regional sales team to close orders and build long-term relationships
d. Demonstrate professionalism and serve as role model for team members distributors and end customers.
3. JOB COMPLEXITY:
a. Work is performed with a minimum of direction and supervision; has significant latitude in determining work objectives and goals.
b. Represents Corporation to customers as well as to principles and senior management of resellers or manufacturing representatives with no supervision on significant matters requiring commitments on business management matters and expense allocations.
c. Operate in new and varied work situations with a high degree of complexity requiring ingenuity and creativity.
4. SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
a. Ability to evaluate customers business contribution capacity
b. Ability to tactfully yet forcefully deal with independent business people.
c. Proven ability to manage and motivate team members/ distributors to exceed goals.
d. Outstanding coaching communication organization and problem solving skills.
5. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
a. Bachelor or above degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science.
b. Eight or more years of experience in sales and key account sales management.
6. JOB CONDITIONS:
Extensive travel and extended hours as required.
