The Role

As a Frontend Web & Smart TV developer at Viaplay Group youll play a key role in shaping and enhancing our Web based applications. From design and development to testing and deployment youll be involved in the full product lifecycle helping us deliver high-quality user-friendly experiences across our platforms.

You will join a cross-functional team of developers working autonomously and driven by metrics to deliver solutions aligned with our long-term product and technical vision. We build our entire product in-house using both native and cross-platform languages. We believe in staying at the forefront of technology continuously learning and challenging the status quo.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced developer with a genuine interest in frontend development and if you have experience in working with TV applications we would be blown away. You thrive in a high energy team-driven environment where you love getting stuff done and having fun while you are doing order to thrive in this role we do believe youll have at least some experience in the following:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with React and Redux
• Familiarity with (SSR/CSR routing and server integration)
• Understanding of hybrid SSR/CSR architectures
• Good experience writing unit tests and end-to-end tests

Its a bonus if you have:

• Experience with Smart TV applications
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and core services
• Experience working with UX/UI designers and user-centered product development.
• Experience in the media or streaming industry.
