Job Description
Location: Burlington MA 01805
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Day Shift (8) - 8:00 start
Weekly Pay Rate: $960 - $1080; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations
- Recording vital signs (e.g. blood pressure temperature pulse)
- Performing EKGs and waived testing
- Handling prescription refill requests
- Answering phones and triaging calls appropriately
- Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups
- Maintaining patient records in the EMR system (EPIC)
- Assisting with patient education and care coordination
- Supporting physicians and nurses in clinical tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or Certified MA (required)
- Certifications:
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Experience:
- 1 3 years of medical office experience (required)
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
