Designation: Manufacturing Engineering- Assistant Manager
Location: Chennai
Qualification: B.E / with 8-12 Years or with 5-9 Years of relevant experince in Maufacturing /Industrial engineering
Job description
To design and implement systems to improve productivity efficiency quality and safety in the process
Identify Critical Cost Derivatives and ineffciencies in complex manufacturing processes and drive improvement actions
Develop tools jigs and fixture to optimize the process
Use lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and effective work flow analysis to allign with Takt time
Drive the team in continuous improvement initiative and inducing lean concepts in operations
Lead the industrial strategies to meet the SQCD commitments
Utilize Value Stream mapping to visualise analyse process identify bottle necks and area of improvements
Layout modification/improvisation for process flow optimization
Collaboration and effective communication with CFT for New product and new process development.
Motion study/time study activities in shopfloor to eliminate the NVA and improve the efficiency
Should have hands on experience in Motion study/Time study 8D methodology and process optimization
Experience in developments of tools jigs and fixtures for assembly operations.
Use of VSM for maping of process flow to enable identification of bottlenecks inefficiencies NVA and improvement actions
Drive NPD and NPI activities in shopfloor to enable smooth transition of new assembly processes in shopfloor with collaboration with CFT
Training team to implementation of lean concepts and motivate team for active involvement in continuous improvements and 5S initiatives
Experience in PFMEA with hands on expreience in implementaion of corrective action to eliminate process defcts
Six Sigma black belt certification will be a added advantage
