Job Summary:
This Occupational Therapist position requires acute care experience and will float between units in a short-term acute care/Level III trauma center. The successful candidate will be a self-starter maintain a full schedule collaborate effectively with the team and communicate well with other team members. One year of experience is acceptable; inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
- Managing a full caseload and scheduling effectively.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
- Communicating effectively with patients families and colleagues.
- Floating between different units as needed.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Occupational Therapy license.
- Acute care experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full schedule.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
Special Considerations:
- Position requires floating between units.
- No on-call weekend or block scheduling requirements.
- Patient ratios are 1:8-10.
- 48-hour work weeks are not approved.
