Job Description
The Siebel Application Developer will be responsible for administrating developing and maintaining applications within a Siebel CRM environment. The role involves collaborating with business teams writing custom code conducting testing and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The developer will also provide operational support and contribute to problem-solving within a talented software team.
- Review requirements documents with business teams.
- Coordinate and deliver on tasks related to application design installation configuration and administration of the Siebel application across all environments.
- Complete and submit migration control documentation and support migration activities.
- Coordinate with other teams for connectivity version/patch updates upgrades and database activities.
- Conduct and document unit tests and support integration testing.
- Provide operational support and help the business team by writing ad-hoc queries.
- Migrate and deploy Siebel objects from one environment to an upgraded environment.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Application Development with Siebel IP17 or above.
- Experience with VB Script and eScript.
- Experience with Service Request/Activity with attachments List of values Workflows.
- Experience with Siebel EAI Integration (Web Services & JMS).
- Experience installing and configuring Siebel systems using Oracle databases.
- Understanding of Siebel Architecture Gateway Server Enterprise Server Siebel Server.
- Experience working with Tomcat.
- Prior experience developing customized solutions and writing code based on business requirements in a high-volume Siebel environment using eScript and VB Script.
- Ability to translate business requirements into creative technical solutions.
- Understanding of Siebel architecture and framework capabilities including Gateway Server Enterprise Server and Siebel Server.
- Ability to debug issues related to Siebel enterprise and servers.
- Extensive knowledge of performance tuning Siebel implementations.
- Prior experience with different areas of Siebel such as Service Request/Activity with attachments List of values Workflows Scripts for production and non-production environments.
- Working knowledge of Siebel authentication methods (LDAP SSO ADSI).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with EDI Format.
- Good understanding of JavaScript.
- Good understanding of PLSQL.
