Job Details:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our clients dynamic team! As a Cloud Engineer you will play a critical role in designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high availability scalability and security of our cloud-based applications and services. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure tools and processes necessary for our organizations software development and deployment pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between development and operations ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration and delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be working as our clients internal lead for their migration to AWS Cloud to their team of consultants currently on this project.
Responsibilities:
- Experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS services and technologies.
- Must have strong Cloud migration experience from on-prem to AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Isac) tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS native tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts security principles and best practices in the context of cloud computing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus ELK stack or Splunk.
