Job Description

The Job Mission
This is a hybrid role open to those within commutable distance of Bristol or willing to relocate with support from a small relocation allowance.

As a Junior Technical Coordination Engineer (Configuration Management) youll support the integrity of plant configuration the vital link between what is designed built and operated. Youll coordinate technical information manage changes and ensure records remain accurate across one of Europes most complex engineering projects.

  • Assist in managing the plant configuration baseline the projects single source of truth
  • Track and support assessment of design changes to ensure safety and compliance
  • Help maintain integrity of digital plant models drawings and engineering records
  • Liaise with designers contractors and technical specialists to capture modifications
  • Support commissioning and handover activities with accurate configuration data
  • Contribute to reporting KPI tracking and data analysis to support decision-making
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary coordination meetings to resolve technical issues
  • Perform quality checks on engineering deliverables for consistency and accuracy

 


Qualifications :

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Electrical Civil or related engineering field
  • Early career or placement experience in engineering projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Desired Skills

  • Exposure to large industrial or infrastructure projects (energy oil & gas etc.)
  • Familiarity with design change processes or configuration management tools
  • Understanding of technical drawings models or databases
  • Interest in developing a career within highly regulated complex projects
