You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a motivated Employment Coach to support individuals who have been out of work for extended periods. Working within the DWP s Restart Scheme you will provide personalised guidance and structured support to Universal Credit and Jobseeker s Allowance claimants helping them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.
Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to understand each participant s employment history skills and barriers to work.
Develop and manage tailored SMART action plans addressing skills gaps training needs and confidence-building.
Deliver 1:1 coaching and group employability workshops covering job search CV writing applications and interview preparation.
Engage employers and local partners to source opportunities and create employment pathways.
Monitor progress provide ongoing motivation and adjust interventions where needed.
Record participant data and outcomes accurately on Aptem CRM.
Meet contractual KPIs covering engagement retention training progression and job outcomes.
Promote equality diversity safeguarding and Prevent in all activities.
Previous experience in employability careers coaching recruitment training or welfare-to-work programmes.
Strong interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to engage diverse participant groups.
Knowledge of barriers to employment and strategies to overcome them.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (experience with Aptem desirable).
Ability to meet targets in a structured contract-driven environment.
A full driving licence and flexibility to work across Leicester and Market Harborough.
Salary: 28000 per annum
Contract: Full-time permanent
