JOB SUMMARY
Experienced and dynamic Emergency Medicine Consultant to join one of the esteemed healthcare teams. As a key leader in the Emergency Department you will be responsible for providing immediate and specialized care to patients in critical conditions. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating rapid assessments implementing life-saving interventions and ensuring efficient patient flow within the emergency setting.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides high-quality care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows staff/assistant physicians and residents.
- Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
- Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs special procedures as privileged.
- Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in emergency medicine.
- American Board/MRCPCH-Irish UK Canadian Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy/SCR Holland/Swedish Board/German Facharzt/Austrian Facharzt/CCST UK/Saudi Board/Arab Board & subboard/Fellowship
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in emergency medicine.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
