You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing designing and supervising electrical engineering works to ensure compliance with project requirements local regulations and industry standards. The role demands strong technical knowledge project management skills and leadership abilities to guide engineering teams and ensure successful project delivery.
Design & Technical Review
Prepare review and approve electrical engineering designs calculations and drawings.
Ensure designs meet project specifications codes and safety standards.
Provide technical expertise and solutions for complex electrical engineering challenges.
Project Supervision & Coordination
Oversee electrical installation testing and commissioning activities on-site.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams contractors and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor progress resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Quality & Compliance
Conduct site inspections and quality checks for electrical works.
Ensure compliance with MME/UPDA requirements and relevant local and international codes.
Identify and implement corrective measures for non-compliance.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain technical documentation project records and design approvals.
Prepare progress reports inspection records and technical evaluations.
Assist project management with engineering input for decision-making.
Health Safety & Environment (HSE)
Promote safe work practices in all electrical activities.
Identify hazards and enforce preventive safety measures on-site.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Licenses & Certifications: MME/UPDA License (Mandatory).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar senior electrical engineering role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD ETAP and other electrical engineering software.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems lighting grounding and control systems.
Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
Ability to lead engineering teams and work independently.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Commitment to quality safety and compliance.
Combination of office and site-based work.
Exposure to electrical installation and construction environments.
May require extended working hours based on project needs.
