Your role is to be an ambassador for the Agile and DevOps way of working within our global NXP organization. Your Team

The Global Lab Operations department provides software and hardware solutions for the world-wide product debug quality centers. We are currently looking for a student for a 6-month internship to develop and implement a graph database which will be used to store previous product debug findings semantically to enable knowledge retrieval.

Your Responsibilities

• Class level ontology implementation for product debug

• Graph database boot up

• Population of the database with suitable instances

• Design of adequate SPARQL queries for knowledge extraction

• Interlink the database with other knowledge databases

Your Profile

• Master of Science - last year of engineering school software development domain

• Knowledge of physics chemistry material science is a plus

• Coding skills in Python

• Experience in ontologies and databases is a plus

• Versioning/data-management tools

• Bug-tracking tools

• Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team reading and writing of documentation)

Duration

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
