- 6a-2p; 2p-10p; 10p-6a 7p-7a (Trauma shifts)
Patient Volume: 20-30
Admission rate: 40%
Support Staff: 2-3 APPs
24-hr Support Services:
- Anesthesia Cardio-Thoracic Surgery Cath Lab General Surg Lab Neuro-Surgery OR Response Time Orthopedic Surgery Radiology & Vascular Surgery.
No. of Rooms:
- 4 trauma bays 12 critical care rooms
- 32 general medical monitored exam rooms (4 dedicated to psych)
- 5 triage stations 7 fast track bays & 1 decontamination room.
Beds in the Dept: 60
Trauma Level: II
- Moving to Level I at the end of 2025.
EMR: Epic
Newborn deliveries received in the ED: Yes
L&D Dept. Available: Yes
Required to Supervise APPs: Yes
Other Info:
- Residents rotate through the ED.
- 80 hrs of physician coverage 36 hrs of EM resident & 36 hrs of APP coverage.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active OK License or IMLC
BC/BE
BLS ACLS ATLS PALS
