Project Kuiper is an ambitious initiative launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Post-Silicon Lab Engineer with strong expertise in Digital ASIC and modem (PHY and MAC layer) PCBA Rework/Test/Design Test Bench build/Maintain OTA chambers build/Maintain to join our silicon engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on validating complex SoC Test Benches and OTA Chambers and cutting-edge wireless modem subsystems in a post-silicon lab environment ensuring high performance robustness and compliance with industry standards.
You will design build and maintain the lab infrastructure. You will be hands on making sure lab environments are highly available while scaling teams processes to ensure long term success.

Key job responsibilities Test System Development & Management Design implement and maintain automated test systems for PCB assemblies Create comprehensive test procedures and validation protocols Develop and maintain test fixtures and equipment calibration schedules Establish and document testing methodologies and standards Hardware/Software Integration Verify software functionality on physical hardware platforms Conduct integration testing between various hardware components Debug hardware-software interface issues Perform system validation and verification testing Laboratory Operations Manage and maintain lab equipment inventory Oversee lab safety protocols and compliance Coordinate equipment calibration and maintenance schedules Process equipment procurement requests and manage vendor relationships Remote Support Services Provide hands-on laboratory support for remote team members Execute tests and collect data for distributed teams Document and communicate test results clearly Perform remote troubleshooting sessions Documentation & Reporting Create and maintain detailed technical documentation Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) Write test reports and analysis summaries Maintain equipment logs and calibration records Cross-functional Collaboration Work with software hardware and systems engineering teams Coordinate with quality assurance teams Liaise with vendors and suppliers Support production and manufacturing teams Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work extended hours when required
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 7 years experience in hardware testing 7 years experience in hardware lab management
Knowledge of RF test equipment and procedures Experience with automated test equipment Familiarity with quality management systems
