Job Description
Position Summary: The Credit and Collection Manager will be responsible for managing credit approval monitoring customer payments and leading a team that handles collections and payment follow-ups. This position plays an integral part in a strong financial team and reports directly to the Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient operation of the accounts receivable department
- Manage all accounts receivable for the company
- Process credit applications submitted by the various branches
- Approves all timecards for the accounts receivable team
- Audit delinquent accounts deemed uncollectible and verify that maximum collection efforts have been undertaken before designating accounts as bad debt.
- Oversee the function of special billings credit and collections
- Provide leadership by training leading and managing the accounts receivable team.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 7 years experience with collections and Billing
- Practical experience with ERP systems
- Process oriented work approach
- Experience with ERP software Microsoft Business Central is desired
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite desired

Physical/Mental Demands:
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. This position is largely a sedentary role requiring use of typical office equipment such as computers printers copiers and scanners.
