Job Description

Help Apple build advanced tools and features that help protect users from sophisticated and implement new approaches to detect and analyze vulnerabilities malware and exploits targeting Apple platforms. Come up with new and innovative approaches to protect vulnerable users while protecting their privacy and preserving device ease-of-use. Work cooperatively with other parts of Apple on large projects which bridge the gap between cutting edge security research and Apples software engineering organization.


  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/skills
  • Understanding of past current and emerging security exploits.
  • Excellent C and systems programming skills.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems internals. Industry exposure to and knowledge of OS security features.
  • Ability to deliver proven work on tight schedules. Working cross-functionally with other software hardware red teams malware analysts and support teams to provide the best security solutions for Apples products.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.


  • Kernel and systems programming
  • Hypervisor design and architecture
  • Involvement in open source technologies and development communities such as FreeBSD and Linux
  • iOS and macOS exposure (end user administrator developer)
