Introduction:
Village Capital is a well-established mortgage company committed to delivering a quick efficient and quality mortgage loan process to our customers and business partners. We are a nationwide mortgage lender specializing in FHA VA USDA Loans. Our Headquarters are located in Henderson NV. We are a lender/servicer who works with loan originators brokers and correspondents to offer our customers great rates and good terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process escrow disbursements for property taxes homeowners insurance mortgage insurance and other escrow-related expenses.
- Review and reconcile escrow accounts to ensure proper funding and disbursement.
- Conduct escrow analyses and adjust escrow accounts as needed to ensure compliance with RESPA guidelines.
- Research and resolve escrow discrepancies shortages and overages.
- Communicate with tax authorities insurance companies and borrowers to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
- Assist in managing escrow account setups renewals and cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies investor guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Specific Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Background in customer service within mortgage or financial services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with tax authorities and insurance providers.
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing software and escrow analysis tools.
- 1 years of experience in mortgage servicing escrow or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of escrow processes tax payments and insurance disbursements.
- Familiarity with RESPA CFPB regulations and industry guidelines.
- Proficiency in mortgage servicing platforms (e.g. MSP Black Knight FIS or similar).
