Upholsterer

Our client is one of Australias largest and best regarded coffin and casket manufacturers in Australia with branches and workshops in every state in the country.

Due to company growth an exciting opportunity has become available for a committed proactive and experienced and trade qualified Upholsterer to join their team.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years Upholstery experience
• Take pride and is passionate about the quality of their work
• Detail orientated
• Ability to work with differing fabrics
• Ability to follow instructions
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Work as part of a team
• Hard working and reliable
• Can multitask

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Measuring and cutting various fabrics
• Stretching and installing material
• Stitching gluing and nailing fabric into place
• Interpret design templates
• Affix padding and hardware

Work hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:20pm - Overtime available

This position is on a full-time basis and we encourage international applicants to apply as full work sponsorship is on offer.

To be eligible for an Australian work permit you must have completed a successful Skill Assessment or willing to undertake Skill Assessment and English IELTS.
