Position OverviewWere looking for a passionate Chef to join our brand-new purpose-built Schofields service catering for 120 children across six beautiful learning this role youll design and prepare nutritious child-friendly meals that meet dietary requirements and inspire healthy eating habits.
This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a centre still in its early days supporting childrens wellbeing through food while being a valued part of a collaborative passionate team.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare fresh nutritious meals and snacks for up to 120 children daily.
Cater to a variety of dietary needs allergies and cultural preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety hygiene and kitchen organisation.
Collaborate with educators to promote healthy eating and nutrition education.
Build positive relationships with children families and team members.
Order manage and rotate stock efficiently.
Experience as a Chef/Cook ideally in childcare school or similar environment.
Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of nutrition for children.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Positive team-focused attitude and commitment to childrens wellbeing.
